Gooch Throws Fourth Shut Out of Season

Clearwater’s Halle Gooch tossed her fourth shut-out of the season in Clearwater’s 7-0 victory against Twin Rivers. Clearwater’s record now stands at 9-5.
Gooch gave up three hits and walked one in the win. Clearwater scored its seven runs on six hits. Brittany Adams had a big day at the plate with two hits and two RBIs. Amy Holmes also had two hits. Cheyanne Burton and Tabitha Carroll each had one hit.

Dexter beat Clearwater 5-7 during action  Wednesday, April 12. Halle Gooch and Brittany Adams pitched for the Lady Tigers. Gooch pitched two innings, giving up two hits, walking one, and striking out three; she was credited with two runs. Adams pitched four innings, allowing five hits, walking four, and striking out three. She was credited with five runs.
Offensively, Clearwater had nine hits. Jordan Fuch was 2-for-3 at the plate. Halle Gooch was 3-for-4. Brittany Adams had one hit and two RBIS. Rachel Rowold had one hit and one RBI. Amy Holmes had one RBI.

Clearwater outhit East Carter 13-8 but stranded 13 runnings on base. The Lady Tigers left the bases loaded three times.
This created an obstacle too great for the Lady Tigers to overcome. The Lady Tigers lost 4-8.
Brittany Adams was 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Halle Gooch was 3-for-3. Jordan Fuchs was 2-for-3. Rachel Rowold had two hits. MagE Hand, Tabitha Carroll, and Cheyanne Burton each had one hit.
