Denton ‘Denny’ Deering

Denton “Denny” Deering, 56, of Greenville, Mo., passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at Poplar Bluff, Mo. Denny was a life resident of Wayne County, Mo. He was born Dec. 1, 1960 to parents George “Sonny” and Sarah (Howell) Deering at Mexico, Mo.
He was a graduate of Greenville High School. Denny had last worked for Baldwin Ford in Poplar Bluff as a service technician. He passions throughout his life were mechanicing, riding his Harley-Davidson, spending time outdoors, and enjoying his granddaughters.
He is survived by his companion of three years, Tina Bollinger of Greenville; children, Travis Deering of Tioga, N.D., Nicholas Deering of O’Fallon, Mo., Heather Kirkman and husband Alex of Greenville, Mo.; grandchildren, Keira Deering, Melidee Kirkman; brothers, Darren G. Deering of Phoenix, Ariz., Daniel E. Deering of Maryville, Tenn., Darrell L. Deering of Greenville, Mo.; aunt and uncle, Sid and Carolyn Mann of Greenville, Mo.; two nieces and two nephews; many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was held Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville, Mo. Services followed at the Greenville Chapel Monday, May 15, 2017. Pastor Louie Robinson ministered to the family. Darrell Deering, Craig Birmingham, Robert Allen, Keith Roach, Jerry Rogers, Rocky Rogers, and Daniel Raevenelli served as pallbearers. Burial was at Greenville Cemetery.
