Larry Goodrich

Larry Curtis Goodrich, 71, of Piedmont, passed away, Monday, June 12, 2017, at his residence. He was born Aug. 1, 1945, to the late, Virgil Goodrich and Naomi (Wilson) Goodrich in St. Louis, Missouri.
Larry owned and operated C&L Pest Control for many years. He was a member of the Piedmont Eagles Club and the Masons Lodge. He was a collector of many things and saw value in everything. He spent a lot of time at his home near Clearwater Lake where he kept a pontoon and hosted many barbecues with family and friends. He will be remembered for his quick wit and good sense of humor, he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.
Larry is survived by, one daughter, Crystal Taylor and her husband Terry of St. Louis, Mo.; one grandson, Jacob Taylor; one brother, Garry Goodrich and his wife Judy of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and longtime companion, Ruth Link.
Visitation was held Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 p.m. at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont. A Memorial service  immediately followed, at 2 p.m. also at Ruegg’s Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
