Williamsville Man Starts the New Year with a Lottery Win

A Williamsville concrete company owner couldn’t curb his excitement af-ter winning $100,000 on a Missouri Lottery “$4 Million Spectacular” Scratchers ticket. James Toon said he usually buys a couple of tickets every week, but he has never won a prize this large. “I had to take my glasses off to double-check it,” Toon said, after realizing he had a winning ticket. “My wife was jumping up and down.” Toon purchased his winning ticket at The Corner Store, located at Highway 172 and Route W, in Williamsville. He bought his ticket on Jan. 1. The win comes at a good time. Toon said his son will be turning 16 years old soon and needs a truck. He also plans to take a trip. “$4 Million Spectacular” is a $20 game with prizes worth up to $4 million. More than $29.8 million in prizes remain in the game.
