Annapolis Library Upgrades Its Internet Speed

Ozark Regional Library, working with MOREnet, has upgraded the Internet connection speed at our Annapolis Branch from 5MB to 10MB. This speed increase was available as of March 1.

Ozark Regional Library serves Iron and Madison Counties, with libraries in Annapolis, Ironton, and Viburnum in Iron County, and in Fredericktown in Madison County. We offer computers for public use at all our libraries, among many other services, and plan to offer more outreach services throughout the counties we serve.

The Missouri Research and Education Network (MOREnet) provides Internet connectivity, access to Internet2, technical services, resources and support, as well as technical training to Missouri’s public sector entities, including K-12 schools, colleges and universities, public libraries, health care, government and other affiliated organizations. Established in 1991, MOREnet operates as a unit within the University of Missouri. The MOREnet consortium consists of more than 700 members across Missouri.
