Geraldine L. Sanders

Geraldine L. Sanders, 69, of Piedmont, Mo., passed away, Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at her residence. She was born Dec. 27, 1947, to the late Edgar H. Stevens and Dorothy M. (Eaton) Stevens in St. Louis, Mo.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one granddaughter Christina Atwood, and her brother Edward Howard Stevens, who was a victim of the Vietnam War.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Sanders, of the home, two sons, Dale Roy Pressdee of Redford, Mo.; and Steven Edward Pressdee and wife Telsa, of Piedmont, Mo.; Step sons, Richard Sanders and his wife Barb of Piedmont, and Bruce Sanders and his fiancé Laura Rice of Piedmont, step daughter Renee Harris and her husband Larry of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, and 26 step-greatgrandchildren.
Geri was a South Iron graduate. She worked as a Store Room Clerk at ISP Minerals for many years. In her spare time, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting lighthouses and had a strong Southern Baptist Faith.
She attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Piedmont, Mo.
Visitation was held Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont. Services were held Thursday April 20, 2017.  also at the Piedmont Chapel. Burial was at Annapolis Cemetery. Pastor Richard Sanders and Pastor James Stewart  ministered to the family.  Ryan Brawley, Josh Pressdee, Steven Pressdee, Caleb Pressdee, Chad Sanders, and Travis Ashcraft served as pallbearers.
