Frank Isom

Franklin Warren Isom, age 57 of Patterson, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was born Dec. 9, 1959 at St. Louis, Mo, the son of Warren Isom and Mabel (Pyles) Isom.

A lifelong resident of Wayne County, he was a mechanic and loved motorcycles and racing.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Warren and Mabel Isom and one sister, Michele Oloyed.

Survivors include two children, Jedidiah Isom, of West Plains, Mo., Carissa Rutledge and her husband Zack, of Mt. View, Mo., his brother, Christopher Isom, of Piedmont, his brother in law, Ron Oloyed, of Dittmer, Mo., and seven grandchildren, Kylee and Lily Isom, Tyler and Mya Hauk, Zachary Jr., Aiden and Paisley Rutledge.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the Morrison-Worley Chapel in Piedmont with Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Gerald Allen, Dale Primm, Steve Presdee, J.C. Smith, Ron Duncan, Zack Rutledge, Ed Lee and Charles Stotts served as Pall Bearers. Interment was in the Forest Chapel Cemetery near Piedmont under the direction of Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel.
