Iva Jane Crutchfield
Iva Jane (Burchard) Crutchfield passed away on Aug. 13, 2017, at the age of 95, in Greenville, Mo. She was born December 2, 1921, in Chaonia, Mo., to William and Mamie Burchard.
She was united in marriage to Jacob Harvey Crutchfield on October 19, 1937, and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two children, Stanley Denver Crutchfield and Wilma Annette Crutchfield, her parents; two brothers, Walter and Louie Burchard; and two sisters, Eva Conner and Erva Leach.
Surviving are two brothers, Cletis (Peggy) Burchard and Leslie Burchard, both of Greenville, Mo.; two sisters, Lola Scott and Verlene McNew, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; four sons, Winfred (Martha) Crutchfield, Wendell (Charlotte) Crutchfield, Lynn (Rae Jean) Crutchfield, and Glenn (Janice) Crutchfield, all of Greenville, Mo.; and two daughters, Loretta (Chuck) Marshall and Joyce (Leroy) Cox, both of Mt. Home, Ark.
Iva professed her faith and love for the Lord daily. She was a longtime member of Kime General Baptist Church. She loved God, her family, and life to the fullest. Iva enjoyed reading the Bible, talking about God and Heaven, listening to gospel music, and people dropping by to visit. She has sixteen grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 14, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville. Funeral services were also held at the Ruegg Funeral Home Greenville Chapel, on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Bob Bradford, Rev. Glenn Crutchfield, and Rev. Kenny Burchard ministered to the family. Music was provided by Bill and Joslyn Payne and Bill and Lottie Marler. Ricky Crutchfield, Tommy Crutchfield, Rodney Buck, Jake Brown, Bradley Crutchfield, and Keith Miller served as pallbearers. Online condolences can be made atwww.rueggfuneralhomes.com
