Hunter education courses are coming to Ellington and Bunker High Schools this October.
The hunter education course is required in order to purchase a firearms hunting permit in the state of Missouri.
Both steps of Missouri’s Hunter Education Program must be completed in order to obtain certification.
The course will be held at Ellington High School on October 11, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The course will also be held at Bunker High School on October 14, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Registration for both locations is currently open. MDC asks that you make sure to bring either a completed workbook or a copy of the certificate verifying the completion of the online portion.
Also there is a minimum of 9 students required to have the class. If this minimum is not met the class will be cancelled.
