Ellington/Bunker To Host Hunter Ed.

Hunter education courses are coming to Ellington and Bunker High Schools this October.

The hunter education course is required in order to purchase a firearms hunting permit in the state of Mis­souri.

Both steps of Missouri’s Hunter Education Program must be completed in order to obtain certification.

The course will be held at Ellington High School on October 11, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The course will also be held at Bunker High School on October 14, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Registration for both lo­cations is currently open. MDC asks that you make sure to bring either a com­pleted workbook or a copy of the certificate verifying the completion of the online portion.

Also there is a minimum of 9 students required to have the class. If this mini­mum is not met the class will be cancelled.
