William “Billy” Shriver
William “Billy” Allen Shiver Sr., born Feb. 12, 1953, in Orlando, Fla., to the late David Allen and Annie Ruth (Hawkins) Shiver passed away Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017, at his residence in Ellington with his family at his side, at the age of 64 years old.
Billy served in the United States Army and worked as an electrician wiring new homes. He was an avid baseball enthusiast, he enjoyed collecting baseball cards and other memorabilia, and he also enjoyed motorcycles and knives. He loved his dogs and spending time with his family more than anything.
On March 26, 1994, Billy was united in marriage to DeAnna Daniel in Starke, Fla. She survives of the home.
Survivors include, his wife of twenty-three years, DeAnna Daniel Shiver of Ellington; two sons, Bill (Thomi) Shiver Jr. of Hephzibah, Ga., and Rodney Christian of Ellington; three daughters, Joyce Ann Shiver of Starke, Fla., Lacee Johnson Quick of Jacksonville Beach, Fla. and Jill (Derrell) Merine of Ellington; eleven grandchildren; one brother, David Allen Shiver Jr of High Springs, Fla.; four sisters, Mary Parker and Jannie Christmas both of Starke, Fla., Dottie Griffin of Donaldson, Ga. and Linda Lindsey of High Springs, Fla. as well as many other relatives and friends whom will mourn his passing.
