Mildred N. Sakers
Mildred Norine Sakers, 92, of Ellington passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, peacefully at her home. She was born March 21, 1925, to the late John D. Klement and Genevieve Dickenson in St. Louis.
Mildred enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family and she loved watching westerns on television. She spent her working years as a factory worker at the Cap Company.
On May 25, 1943, Mildred was united in marriage to Frank Saker in St. Louis. To this union two children were born.
Survivors include her sister, Carol Beckmann of St. Louis; caretaker and best friend, Doris Ring of Ellington; as well as other relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.
Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017; with Pastor Kelly Chilton officiating the funeral. Burial was in the Ellington Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
