Berlin L. Fox

Berlin Leo Fox, son of the late Norma Gertrude (Cozine) Fox and Virgil R. Fox, was born in Lesterville, on July 29, 1934. He departed this life at his residence in Lesterville on Dec. 3, 2017, at the age of 83.

On April 28, 1954, in Hernando, Miss., Leo was united in marriage to Nettie Lorene Beebe and to this union three children were born. Leo was a member of the Centerville Church of Christ. He owned and operated Fox Wood Products. Leo loved working in his sawmill, he also enjoyed gardening, going out to eat and listening to country music and watching westerns.

Leo is survived by his wife, Lorene Fox, of Lesterville; two sons, Brady Leo (Janet) Fox and Richard Lee (Cathy) Fox; and one daughter, Mary Elaine (Randy) Maize, all of Lesterville; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Fox of Farmington; two sisters, Dorothy Botkin of Arnold and Sue Norris of Crestwood. Leo will be deeply missed by his family and many friends who will mourn his passing.

Visitation was held Friday, Dec. 8 at McSpadden Funeral Home. Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 9 at the funeral home with Pastor Bernie Crum officiating. Burial was in Redford Memorial Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were members of his family.

Arrangements were under the direction of McSpadden Funeral Home in Lesterville.
