Deborah L. Cradic
Deborah Lynn Cradic, age 64 of Piedmont, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Evelyn’s House Hospice Center in Creve Coeur, Mo. She was born February 27, 1953 in St. Louis, the daughter of Cecil and Edith (Milster) Matzker. Deborah was married to Darrell Cradic January 27, 1988, in Piedmont and had worked at Garden Foods. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Cecil and Edith Matzker, 2 sisters, Barbara Sue Matzker and Cecilia Lawrence, and 1 grandson, James Richardson.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell Cradic, of Piedmont, 5 children, Mark Richardson and his wife Gwen, of Poplar Bluff, David Richardson, of Piedmont, Melissa Caputo and her husband Matthew, of St. Peters, Mo., Harold Cradic and his wife Tonya, Lonnie Cradic and his wife Tina, of Piedmont.
Also surviving are 2 brothers, Fred Matzker and his wife Rhonda, of Piedmont, Joe Matzker and his wife Anita, of Patterson, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Morrison-Worley Chapel in Piedmont with Rev. Wayne Street officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and family tributes were given. Mark Richardson, David Richardson, Fred Matzker, Joe Matzker, Lonnie Cradic, Cayli Cradic, Matthew Caputo and Junior Green served as Pall Bearers.
Bro. Jim Howard conducted the graveside ceremony and Rhoda Matzker sang a special closing song. Interment was in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis under the direction of Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel. Memorials have been requested to the American Cancer Society or the American Liver Foundation.
