University Extension has several programs planned in Reynolds County. Mark your calenders and take part in one or all of these programs.
Winter Exercise Program: Every Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at the Extension Educational Building, Centerville
Beef Profit Series: Session One: January 25th, Livestock Risk Protection Reducing and winter cow costs, Session Two: February 1, Farm lease agreements, should you consider novel endophyte fescue? Session Three: February 8, Beef Record keeping an finances and adding value to feeder cattle. Each session begins at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude no later than 9:00 p.m. Class will be held at the Extension Educational Building, Centerville
Private Pesticide Applicator Certification and Re-Certification Workshop: Tuesday, February 27th, 10:00 a.m. Session last for approximately 2.5 hrs. Class will be held at the Extension Educational Building, Centerville
Chronic Disease Self-Management Leaders Training– March 8-9, 15-16 and 19. Training will be held at Highlands Health in Ellington.
Canning, Salsa and Jam Making All day Workshop: April 14, 10:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. Workshop will be held at the Centerville Cafeteria.
Conservation Cost Share Workshop: May 24th, 6pm – 8pm. Come learn different cost hare opportunities for Mo residents are missing out on. Class will be held at the Extension Educational Building, Centerville
Kids Summer Programs: Every Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the month of July. (July 5th Craft-Journal Jar) July 12th Photography-Picture taking) July 19th ( Scrapbooking) July 26th Health and Fitness-exercise and healthy snack making , Lisa Beardsley of the Reynolds County Health Department.
