Annapolis Man Seriously Injured

An Annapolis man was seriously injured Monday evening in a one-vehicle crash in Iron County. The accident occurred at 10:36 p.m. on Highway 49, .2 miles north of Route BB.

Aaron D. Egerer, 38, was northbound in a 2003 Volkeswagon Jetta. The Highway Patrol said that Egerer’s car ran of the roadway, struck a tree and a concrete retaining wall, and overturned.

Egerer was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Highway Patrol. He was flown by Air Evac to Mercy Medical Center.

His vehicle was totalled in the crash. It was towed from  the scene by Forshee Towing.
