Mary Turnbough

Mary Ellen Turnbough, 86, of Piedmont, Mo., passed away at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Friday, Jan.26, 2018. Mary Ellen was born March 31, 1931 at Desloge, Mo., to Jason and Ruth (Pannebecker) Hughes.

Mary Ellen was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading her Bible, knitting, crocheting, and being outdoors watching wildlife. She loved spending time with her family. She was a caretaker for Stephen Gresick from 1969 to 2000 until his passing.

She is survived by her children: Wetzel Boushie and wife Cindy of Arcadia, Mo., Larry Boushie of Arcadia, Mo., Debbie Shelton of Piedmont, Mo., Donna Barnett of Dexter, Mo., Sandy Pichon and husband Wayne of Piedmont, Mo., Yvonne Peppers and husband L.S. of Imperial, Mo.; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and a sister Norma Volner of Potosi, Mo.; and a close family friend and caretaker Randy Henson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl Turnbough; one son, Stephen John Gresick; one brother, Clifford Hughes; sisters: Betty Johnson, Ila Mae Osterhout and Doris Boushie.
