Robert Eugene Harris

Robert Eugene “Geno” Harris, 56, of Vulcan, Mo., passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at his residence. Geno was born April 29, 1961, at St. Louis, Mo., to parents, Ethelbert and Edna (Jines) Harris.

Geno was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He had many friends and loved to work on cars. He had worked as a rehabber for many years in the St. Louis, Mo., area before making Vulcan his home. In his younger years he was a well known St. Louis wrestler in the MMWA/SICW association. Geno was about to make his debut into the T&A when a motorcycle accident changed that. He was always a man that enjoyed helping others and was known for a good sense of humor. He had served in the Missouri Army National Guard in the 1970’s.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-three years, Tammy (Sitze) Harris; children: Robert M. Harris of Festus, Mo., Ashley M. Harris and companion BJ, Crystal Ann Harris and companion Christopher of Farmington, Mo., Lena Renee Harris of Park Hills, Mo.; grandchildren: Chris Roberson, Cameron Roberson, Robert Harris, Jacob Alexander Harris, Abel Lathem, Bella Harris, Justin Harris, Lucas Wm. Harris, Elliott Voyles, Tatianna Roberson; brother, Stephen Harris of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; sisters, Dena Kleine and husband Mike of Claudel, Ill., and Jenetta Talbert and husband Rob of Corning, Ark.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin and Terry Harris; and sister, Sharie Louise Lutzinger.

Memorial Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Free Spirit Baptist Church, Vulcan MO. Pastor Steve Sale ministered to the family. Military honors were provided by Arnold Hodge Post 281, Piedmont, Mo. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
