Leoma ‘Roberta’ Mongtomery

Leoma “Roberta” Montgomery, 86 passed away on Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at her home in Fredericktown, Missouri.  She was born on July 11, 1931 in Patterson, Missouri                         a daughter of Hubert Joe Rederick and Minnie Jewell (Henderson) Rederick.  In 1947 in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Cleatus Henry Montgomery, he preceded her in death on June 4, 1994.  Her parents and one son, Stanley Montgomery also precedes her.

She is survived by four daughters — Judy Sandridge of Herculaneum, Missouri, Donna (David) Beaty of Fredericktown, Fay (Donald) Jordan of  Cherokee Pass, Missouri, and Janet (Charles) Roderick of  St. Louis, Missouri; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law – Betty Montgomery of  Pevely, Missouri.                  .

Roberta was a homemaker choosing to stay at home and care for her five children; she enjoyed drawing, shopping, spending time with her family and going to church.

Visitation was Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services were Friday, February 16, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Brown officiating.

Interment was at the New Prospect Cemetery in Silva, Missouri.
