Death Investigation Underway in Reynolds County

A death investigation by the sheriff’s office and Missouri Highway Patrol is underway in Reynolds County, Mo.

According to Sheriff Tom Stout, his office received a call on Tuesday to check on the well being of a person.

Deputies found Cameron D. Hill, 42, of Bunker, Mo. deceased. The preliminary investigation showed that he died from an apparent gunshot wound.

There are persons of interest in the case, and investigators are following up on leads, according to the sheriff’s office.

An autopsy will place in Farmington on Wednesday, April 24. The results are pending.

The investigation is continuing by the sheriff’s office and the Missouri Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control.

Sheriff Stout said there is no reason to believe the community is in danger. No other information is available at this time.
