Ernestine Legg

Ernestine Legg, age 75, of Piedmont, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Greenville Health Care Center in Greenville, MO. She was born January 31, 1943 in Gulfport, Mississippi, the daughter of Ernest W. Legg and Pansy (Hight) Legg. She was raised in the Gulfport area and was cared for by her sister in the Piedmont area for the past eight years.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Ernest and Pansy Legg and two brothers, Walter Monroe Legg and John Leo Legg, Sr.

Survivors include her sister, Margaret Ann Basden and her husband Gene, of Piedmont, two nieces, Tina Thompkins and her husband Paul, of Birmingham, AL, Sabrina Nata and her husband George, of Piedmont; three nephews, Jamie Vinas, of Piedmont, John Leo Legg, Jr., of Meridian, MS, and Shane Legg, of Hattisburg, MS.

Also surviving is one great nephew, Jerad Thompkins, of Birmingham, AL, and many cousins, aunts and uncles.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date in Louisville, Mississippi. Memorials have been suggested to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel.
