Highway 143 in Wayne County Closed for Asphalt Overlay  

Route 143 in Wayne County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews overlay the road with asphalt.

This section of roadway is located north of Sam A. Baker Park to the Iron County Line.

Weather permitting, work will performed Wednesday, July 11 and Thursday, July 12 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
