Shearrer’s Bid Unsuccessful in Butler County
Wayne County native Dennis Shearrer of Poplar Bluff was one of four candidates vying for the Republican nomination for Butler County treasurer. Shearrer’s bid was unsuccessful.
Tammy Marler received 2,860 votes to win the nomination in the four-person race. Jerrica Fox received 1,848 votes. Dan Conover received 1,743 votes. Shearrer had 539 votes.
