Home Destroyed by Fire

The home of Jim and Marileta Wohlschlaeger of Piedmont was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon. Their home was located directly adjacent to their business, Clearwater Store and Cafe. Firefighters from the Clearwater Fire Protection District, City of Piedmont, and City of Greenville were called to battle the inferno. The Wohlschlaegers were not home at the time of the fire; they lost everything in the blaze.
