Two Die in Collision in Reynolds County

Two people were killed and another person injured following a two-vehicle accident late Tuesday morning, Oct. 8, in Reynolds County. The crash occurred on Highway 49, seven miles north of Lesterville.

A report from the Highway Patrol said 41-year-old Edward Baugh of Black, Mo. and a 16-year-old juvenile, also from Black, were killed when the SUV Baugh was driving crossed the center line and collided with a semi head-on.

Both Baugh and the teenager were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi, 52-year-old Joseph Miller of Poplar Bluff, was taken from the scene of the 11:55 am accident to Iron County Hospital.
