Deborah Sue Evans
Deborah Sue Evans, 65, of Piedmont, Mo., received her Heavenly wings on Monday, December 30, 2019. She was born on November 18, 1954, in Marion, Ohio.
Debbie was a loving wife, sister, and aunt. On August 18, 1978, she married Marvin H. Evans. Debbie was a fun, loving person.
While being raised by her Uncle Lee and Aunt Leda Wallace, she graduated from Doniphan High School. She was a cook at Clark’s Mountain Nursing home from 1993 to 2007.
She absolutely loved family, especially her husband Marvin. Her hobbies were cooking, sewing and crafting. She never had any children but loved them dearly. She truly enjoyed helping others.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents: JoAnn Crabtree and stepfather Thomas Foster and sister-in-law: Marcella Oliver.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of forty-one years, Marvin H. Evans of Piedmont. Also surviving are her three sisters and one brother; Teresa Tarmon of Piedmont, Mo., Lee Foster of Whitewater, Mo., Jenny “Foster” Kaliszewski and husband Rodney of Mt. Calm, Texas, and Demaris Givens of Texas; her little Yorkie, Gizmo; her inlaws: Sue Thompson and husband Tim, Sandra Heldt and husband Larry.
Due to her love for children, Debbie’s final request is; in lieu of flowers you would consider a donation to St. Jude Hospital.
A graveside service was held Monday, January 6, 2020, at Valhalla Gardens, Bellville, Ill.. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com.
