David Grant McCall

David Grant McCall, son of the late William McCall and Edna Grant McCall, was born in Winona, Missouri, on November 20, 1934. He departed this life at Salem Memorial District Hospital in Salem, Missouri, on December 9, 2019, at the age of 85.

David enjoyed working cutting fire wood and pine posts. 

David was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Joy Danford, Pearl Mowery and Wanda Pyeatt, 3 nephews, 1 niece and 8 brother-in-laws. 

David is survived by one son, David Howard McCall and wife Renee of Killeen, Texas, one daughter, Davina McCall and companion Randy of LaQuey, Missouri, two brothers, Lonnie McCall and wife Rosie of Bunker, Missouri, and Jimmie McCall and wife Alta of Salem, Missouri, 6 sisters, Evon Vest of Bunker, Missouri, Kay Drye of Salem, Missouri, Jennie Owens of St. Louis, Missouri, Carol Bowers of Corning, Arkansas, Elaine Atwood and husband Blaine of Vernal, Utah, and Glenda Mitchell of Detroit, Michigan, 3 grandchildren, David William, Katalina, and Dominick, and 1 great-grandchild, Aden. David will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.

Visitation was Thursday, December 12, at McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker, Missouri, and the funeral followed. Elder Dennis Burns ministered to the family.

Pallbearers were Wayne Pyeatt, Mike McCall, Ricky Mitchell, Jason McCall, Aaron McCall and Nathan McCall.Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem, Missouri.

In lieu of flower, the family requested donations to Leukemia Research Foundation, 191 Waukegan Rd Ste. 105, Northfield, IL 60093.
