Blake Matthew Helms

Blake Matthew Helms of Ironton, Mo., passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the age of 20 years, 7 months, and 27 days. 

He was born May 15, 1999 in Farmington, Mo., a son of Shane Helms and Rachel Crocker who survive. Also surviving Blake are two brothers; Avery Helms of Ironton, Mo.,and Hayden Law of Ironton, Mo.; grandparents, Becky Hubbard of Steeleville, Mo., David Crocker of Arnold, Mo., and Billy Helms of Springfield, Mo., five uncles; Daniel, Matthew, Dennis, David,and Randy, Aunts, Lura and Amanda, his great grandmother Loretta Dempsey of Pilot Knob, and a host of other loving family members and friends. 

Blake is preceded in death by grandmother Elizabeth Coleman and great grandfathers Bob Dempsey and Babe Racer. 

Blake was a 2015 graduate of Arcadia Valley High School. 

A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Cole Family Funeral Home. Visitation was Thursday, January 16, 2020. Elder Mark Sutton officiatedthe funeral services. Interment was in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park.
