Burnell Creek

Burnell Creek, son of the late Myrtle Bailey Creek and Gilbert Creek, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 9, 1943. He departed this life at Salem Memorial Hospital in Salem, Missouri, on February 20, 2020, at the age of 76.

On June 25, 1965, in Bunker, Missouri, Burnell was united in marriage to Carline Gordon Laramore and to this union two children were born. Burnell enjoyed fishing, hunting, digging roots and herbs as well working on old vehicles.

Burnell was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 54 years, Sue Creek, one son, Dennis Creek, one grandson, Chad Laramore and one brother, Kenneth Creek.

Burnell is survived by two sons, Harvey Creek of Reynolds, Missouri, Danny Laramore and wife Violet of Bunker, Missouri, one daughter, Donna Miner and husband Gerald of Bunker, Missouri, six grandchildren, Hanna, Dennis, Danielle, Jessica, Matt and Hannah, four sisters, Bertha Ward of Bastrop, Louisiana, Janie Kelley of Lesterville, Missouri, Judy Amsden of Ellington, Missouri, and Hilda Smith of Farmington, Missouri. Burnell will be deeply missed by his family and many friends who will mourn his passing.

Visitation was Tuesday, February 25.  at McSpadden Funeral Home. Funeral Services followed. Pastor Ronnie Parker ministered to the family. Burial was in Bunker Cemetery.Pallbearers were Austin Laramore, Matt Bishop, Keith Wyatt, Dennis Creek II, Rickie Nall and Ethan. Honorary Pallbeare was Billy Shipman.
