Farley R. Jordan
Farley R. Jordan, son of the late Sam Jordan and Ronnie Stevens, was born in Bunker, Missouri, on April 22, 1925. He departed this life at Riverways Manor in Van Buren, Missouri, on February 26, 2020, at the age of 94.
On November 24, 1949 in Bunker, Missouri, Farley was united in marriage to Alice Martin and to this union seven children were born. Alice preceded him in death on February 2, 2005. Farley was a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and bluegrass festivals and playing music.
Farley was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four sons, Ben “Skip” Jordan, Kevan Jordan, Farley “Peewee” Jordan, and Daniel Jordan, six brothers, Ervin, Wayne, Carl, Bill, Jim and Lowell Jordan, and two sisters, Anna Edler and Neva Moore.
Farley is survived by two sons, David Jordan and wife Monica of Lesterville, Missouri, and Terry Jordan and wife Lisa of Falls City, Oregon, one daughter, Linda Barton of Bunker, Missouri, one sister, Lucy Lawson of Vichy, Missouri, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Farley will be deeply missed by a host of family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Visitation was Saturday, February 29, at McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker, Missouri. The funeral followed.
Elder Denny Mathes ministered to the family. Burial was in Greeley Cemetery.
