Steven Wayne Pratt
Steven Wayne Pratt of Annapolis, Missouri passed away February 25, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 9, 1953 in Ironton, Missouri the son of the late William Henry and Verna Mae (Swaringim) Pratt.
On July 12, 1975 he was united in marriage to Gwen Lou Young who survives. To this union two children were born; Dana Michelle Pratt and significant other, Doug Savage of Farmington, Missouri and William Lee Pratt and wife, Krista of Annapolis. In addition to his children, Steve is survived by his brother, Lawrence Pratt and wife, DeShay of Ironton, three grandchildren; Greg, Wyatt and Aron Pratt, his father-in-law, Samuel Young of Annapolis, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Aron Pratt, his grandson, William Pratt, and his mother-in-law, Betty Young.
Steve was a 1971 graduate of South Iron High School. He worked at ASARCO for many years until the plant closed. He was a member of United Steel Workers Local 7450. Steve was a member of Black River Hot Rodders and enjoyed restoring classis cars. He also enjoyed deer hunting.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Bryson Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Alcorn officiating. Visitation was on Friday evening. Interment was in Annapolis Cemetery.
