Mary Ann Davis

Mary Ann Davis, daughter of the late Herbert Barton and Essie Copeland, was born in Bunker, Missouri, on June 24, 1941. She departed this life at her residence in Ellington, Missouri, on March 1, 2020, at the age of 78.

On December 30, 1994, in Centerville, Missouri, Mary was united in marriage to James Davis. Mary was a member of the Ellington First Baptist Church. She was also a former member of the Eastern Star. Mary enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, going to yard sales and flea markets, and spending time with her dogs, Holly, Muffin, Fuzz Ball and Sam. 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Scott Fox and Johnny Fox, one foster child, Christopher Todd, and two brothers, Jess Barton and Dale Barton, and one twin sister, Martha Royal.

Mary is survived by her husband James Davis of Ellington, Missouri, two sons, Bryan Fox and wife Mallory of Rolla, Missouri, and Tom Radford and wife Georgann of Redford, Missouri, one daughter, Faith Ann Fox of Ellington, Missouri, two sisters, Alice McMullen of Bunker, Missouri, and Jeannie Mull of Salem, Missouri, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mary will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.  

Visitation was Thursday, March 5, at McSpadden Funeral Home, Ellington, Missouri, and the funeral followed. Pastor Pat Pyles ministered to the family.

Burial was in West Fork Sutterfield Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Radford, Bryan Fox, Derrick Radford, Tim Radford, Anthony Radford and Jessica Lawson.
