L.E. Beck
L.E. Beck, son of the late Golden E. Beck and Iva J. Williams, was born in Salem, Missouri, on February 7, 1930. He departed this life at the Life Care Center in Sullivan, Missouri, on March 7, 2020, at the age of 90.
L.E. was a Veteran of the United States Army. He became a member of the Believers Chapel Church in Ellington, Missouri, on August 28, 2011. L.E. was also a member of the Carpenters Union Local #92 in St. Louis, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, he really loved to bird hunt with his dogs, and watching old westerns, especially John Wayne.
L.E. was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Wenfred, Okie, John and Billy Ray Beck, and one sister, Wanda Beck Garton.
L.E. is survived by two sons, David L. Beck and wife Beverly of Eminence, Missouri, Darrell L. Beck and wife Tonya of Manheim, Pennsylvania, one daughter, Debra L. Colyott and husband Gregory of Steelville, Missouri, and two sisters, Minnie M. Hill of Forsyth, Missouri, and Marolin Moore of Florissant, Missouri, 4 grandchildren, David Beck Jr., Christy Peasley, Trevor and Brandon Beck, and 3 great-grandchildren, Cody, Daniel and Luke Beck. L.E. will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.
Visitation was Friday, March 13th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McSpadden Funeral Home, Ellington, Missouri
Funeral followed at 1 p.m.
Pastor Ben Pickett ministered to the family.
Burial was in Munsell Cemetery, Eminence, Missouri.
Pallbearers were Darrell Beck, David Beck Jr., Cody Beck, Daniel Beck, Gregory Colyott and Ron Riggle.
