Larry Gay Hart Sr.

Larry Gay Hart Sr., son of the late Ira Hart and Opal Burns Vineyard, was born in Ellington, Missouri, on March 16, 1946. He departed this life at his residence in Bonne Terre, Missouri, on March 11, 2020, at the age of 73.

On December 24, 1966 in Belleville, Illinois, Larry was united in marriage to Pat Vogt and to this union three children were born. He enjoyed deer hunting and watching television. Larry’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. 

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Garry and Robert Hart.  

Larry is survived by his wife Pat Hart of Bonne Terre, Missouri, one son, Larry Hart Jr. and wife Shanna of Park Hills, Missouri, two daughters, Kerry Hart of Bonne Terre, Missouri, and Kimberly Huitt and husband David of Park Hills, Missouri, two brothers, Gene Vineyard of Ellington, Missouri, and Warren Vineyard of Illinois, two sisters, Caroline and Kay Vineyard, and four grandchildren, Garrett, Ethan, Aubrie and Paige. Larry will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing. 

Visitation was Saturday, March 14,  at McSpadden Funeral Home, Ellington, Missouri. Funeral followed later that evening. Pastor Bill Bond ministered to family.
