Jerald F. Shearrer

Jerald F. (Taylor) Shearrer 93, of Patterson, MO, passed away on March 13, 2020 at her home. Jerald was born on January 5, 1927, to Joe Taylor and Ruth (Green) Taylor. 

Jerald is survived by her husband of 75 years, Oran Robert Shearrer. 

Jerald enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family. Jerald also drove a school bus for Patterson and Clearwater school districts for 32 years. 

Jerald was an avid church worker and Sunday School teacher at Patterson Baptist Church of which she was a member for over 65 years. 

Jerald was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ruth Taylor. Along with her husband, 

Jerald is survived by one son, Craig Shearrer and wife Janet of Patterson, Mo. ; one daughter, Linda (Shearrer) Skaggs and husband Donald of Arnold, Mo.; one brother, Jerry Taylor and wife, Betty of St. Louis, Mo. Jerald and Oran also have 4 grandchildren: Chandler Shearrer and wife Carolyn; Tara Williams and husband Gary; Robert Skaggs and wife Cheryl; Emily Hall and husband Mike. Jerald and Oran also have twelve great-grandchildren: Caileigh; Caiden; Garrett; Charlie; Isabel: Jadon; Eliana; Ruby; Charlotte; Josiah; Grayson; and Asher. Jerald will be missed by nephews, cousins, and loving friends. 

Visitation was held Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont. Funeral service followed in the Piedmont Chapel. Burial will be in Rowland-Woods Cemetery in Patterson.
