Lynn H. Crutchfield, age 62, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born January 26, 1958 in Gideon, MO, the son of Jacob Crutchfield and Iva (Burchard) Crutchfield.
A lifelong resident of Greenville, Lynn was a retired truck driver for Penske Trucking Company. Lynn was married to his high school sweetheart Rae Jean Barks October 30, 1976 in Greenville. He loved the outdoors and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Jacob and Iva Jane Crutchfield, a son, Dale Crutchfield, a brother, Stanley Crutchfield and a sister, Wilma Crutchfield.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Rae Jean Crutchfield, of the home, 2 children, Wayne Crutchfield, of Greenville, Amanda Crutchfield, of Greenville, 3 brothers, Winfred Crutchfield and his wife Martha, Wendell Crutchfield and his wife Charlotte, Glenn Crutchfield and his wife Janice, all of Greenville, 2 sisters, Loretta Marshall and her husband, Chuck, and Joyce Cox and her husband, Leroy, both of Mt. Home, Ark.
Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Joey Pertell, Dawson Weston, Vicky Pertell, Novalee Crutchfield, Troy Walls, Zak Walls and Arica Wilkerson, along with many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Lynn will be very deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Graveside services were held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 with Rev. Glenn Crutchfield officiating. Special songs were played and Wayne Crutchfield, Joey Pertell, Jim Hensley, Ricky Crutchfield, Rodney Buck and Randy Barks served as Pall Bearers. Burial was in the Center Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel. Memorials have been requested to the Center Ridge Cemetery and may be sent to the funeral home.
