Norman Roy Keele Jr.

Norman Roy Keele Jr., 66 of Silva, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020, at his residence. He was born September 24, 1953, to the late Norman Roy and Delores (Finch) Keele Sr. of Silva. 

Norman was united in marriage to Catherine Schneider on May 24, 1975. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in his yard and spending countless hours in his garage working on his trucks, cars and his motorcycles. 

He is preceded in death by his father and his sister: Vicki Fitzgibbons. 

In addition to his loving wife of forty-five years, and his mother, Norman is survived by his brothers: Owen Keele and wife Gina of Silva, Nolan Keele of East Alton, Ill.; his sisters: Violet Kivett and husband Mike of Dorsey, Ill., Vivian Cook of Chicago, Ill.; his nephews: Jesse Keele and wife Amanda, Jake Keele and wife Jessica; his nieces: Beverly Vail and husband Gerard, Kami Wilcox and husband Chris, Lacey Price and husband Jerry, Amber Abney; Brother-in-laws: James Schnieder and Mark Fitzgibbons; and many great nieces and nephews. Norman will be sadly missed by his family and friends. 

Visitation was held Friday, March 20, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville. Funeral service followed, also at the Greenville Chapel. 

Bro. Jerry Gibson ministered to the family. Owen Keele, Jesse Keele, Jake Keele, Jim Schneider, Jason Webb, and Kyle Davis served as pallbearers. Burial was in the Greenville Cemetery.
