Everett J. Garrison

Everett J. Garrison son of the late Mary Smith Garrison and Adam A. Garrison was born in Lanton, Missouri, on July 1, 1930. He departed this life at his daughter’s residence in Farmington, Missouri, on April 6, 2020, at the age of 89.

On December 11, 1965 in Cahokia, Illinois, Everett was united in marriage to Betty Dunn Gallaher. Everett enjoyed playing pool, watching Cardinals baseball, bowling and hunting.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Robert, Henry, Jimmy and Andrew Garrison and one sister, Martha Woods.

Everett is survived by his wife, Betty Garrison of Farmington, Missouri, four sons, Carl Junior Garrison and wife Fran of Farmington, Missouri, Michael Gallaher and wife Winnie of Park Hills, Missouri, Wesley Garrison and wife Kathy of Lawton, Oklahoma, Virgil Gene Garrison and wife Robin of Republic, Missouri, five daughters, Wanda Garrison of St. Louis, Missouri, Carolyn Bloom and husband Jim of Farmington, Missouri, Debbie Williams of St. Louis, Missouri, Melinda Garrison of St. Louis, Missouri, Marilyn Jansen and husband Jeff of Antioch, Tennessee. Everett is survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and many friends that will mourn his passing.

Private graveside services were held at Brown Cemetery on Friday, April 10.
