Johnny Ray Waller

Johnny Ray Waller, age 60, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020 at his home in Mokane, MO. He was born November 1, 1959 in Piedmont, MO, the son of Henry Waller and Ruth (Morris) Waller.

Johnny was raised in Piedmont and operated Waller Sawmill for many years. He was married to Kathy Hamilton-Brinkley September 3, 2005 and had made his home in Mokane. He was a member of the Dry Fork Baptist Church in New Bloomfield, MO and had worked for Walmart.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Henry and Ruth Waller, 1 brother, Kenneth Waller and 2 sisters, Carol Morris and Deanna Hamilton.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Waller, of Mokane, 3 step children, Donald Brinkley, Jr. and his wife Becky, of Holts Summit, MO, Matthew Brinkley, of Jefferson City, Katrina Brinkley, of Mokane, 3 brothers, Wesley Waller and his wife Debra, of Cadet, MO, Gary Wilcox, of Piedmont, David Wilson, of Poplar Bluff, 3 sisters, Ruby Allen and her husband Leon, of Clubb, Connie Waller, of Mokane, and Sherry Lawson, of Fredericktown.

Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Lyla and Eric Brinkley, along with many nieces and nephews.

Johnny will be very deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 with Rev. Wayne Street officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Matthew Brinkley, John Waller, Jeff Waller, Rick Hampton, Ronnie Meyers and Jim Hampton were Pall Bearers. Kevin Kimes served as an honorary Pall Bearer. Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel. Memorials have been requested to the American Cancer Society.
