Marilyn Imogene Albert

Marilyn Imogene Albert, age 79, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020 at her home near Piedmont, Mo. She was born September 4, 1940 in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Obert Lee Morris and Velma (Mann) Morris.

Marilyn had lived in the Piedmont area for many years and had attended the Church of the Nazarene in Annapolis.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Obert Lee and Velma Morris, one brother, Mike Morris, and one sister, Donna Straussner.

Survivors include 7 children, Cindy Goodson, of Piedmont, Barb Duncan, of Piedmont, Tony Duncan, of Piedmont, Susan Brouk, of OFallon, Mo., Fred Bennett, of Palm Beach, Fla., Dave Tinsley, of Piedmont and Billy Albert, of Piedmont.

Also surviving are 2 brothers, Phillip Morris, of Fredericktown, Mo., Russ Morris, of Piedmont, 2 sisters, Betty Eyster, of Wentzville, Mo., Linda Warncke, of Annapolis, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating. Marilyn’s great granddaughters, Amaya and Alysa sang a special song along with recorded songs. Billy Albert, Russ Morris, Gary Snyder, Dakota Henderson, T.J. Duncan and Aaron Duncan served as Pall Bearers. Interment was in the Morris Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
