Roger Dale Stodgell
Roger Dale Stodgell of Bismarck, Mo., passed away May 9, 2020, at the age of 66 years, 1 month,and 29 days. He was born March 11, 1954, in Fredericktown, Mo., a son of the late James Curtis and Betty (Francis) Sanders.
On March 28, 1987 he was united in marriage to Pamela (Strahan) Stodgell who survives. To this union was born four children; Amy Stodgell of Louisville, Ky., Bethany (Donald) Thompson of Grandview, In., Tracy (Billy) Boatright of Desoto, Mo., and Crissy Ringwall of House Springs, Mo.. Also surviving are a brother, Jamie (Julie) Sanders of Kirkwood, Mo.; three sisters; Donna (Kenny) Utz of Hillsboro, Mo., Crystal (Ronnie) Edmond,and Carline (Craig) Simpson both of Fredericktown; six grandchildren; Michael Anthony, Amanda, Miranda, Austin, Emily, and Alysia; three great grandchildren; Alyvia, Michael “Jr.”, and Aleeah.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; Kim Sanders, and a nephew Joshua Bubba Sanders.
Roger worked 27 years in the landscaping business. He served on the Board at Iron Mountain Lake and was also the Mayor. He was a member of C.I.T.Y. non for profit group, and was a member of Iron Mountain Assembly of God Church.
Visitation and funeral services for Roger were held Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at the Cole Family Chapel. Brother Matt Prioda officiated the funeral services. Interment was held in Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown, Mo. Online condolences may be made at www.colefamilyfuneralhomes.com
