Betty J Patterson

Betty J Patterson, 69, of Annapolis, passed away, Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born November 24, 1950, in Ellington, MO, to parents Bill and Mary (Losh) Smith.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She married Gary Patterson October 5, 1968. She was a dog lover, enjoyed shopping, cooking, and riding horses. Betty’s family was especially important to her. She loved her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of fifty-one years, her children, Jerry Patterson and wife Pam of Des Arc; Kathy Denton and husband Walter of O’Fallen, IL; her grandchildren, Josie Patterson, Shelby Patterson, Ally Denton, and Jenna Denton; her brother, Billie Joe Smith and wife Sue of Poplar Bluff. Betty will be missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 also in the Piedmont Chapel. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery, Vulcan.
