Betty Mae (Schaber) Proffer
Betty Mae (Schaber) Proffer, age 79, born January 16, 1941 passed away in Virginia Beach Va., on June 16, 2020 with complications from kidney disease.
She grew up in Piedmont, Mo., and graduated with the CHS class of 1959. She married Charles Lloyd Proffer in 1961 and they made their home in Virginia Beach, Va.
Betty loved her family and adored her pets. She was a devoted member of her church. Her faith carried her through till her final days.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Proffer. Survived by two children, David Andrew Proffer (Sarah) and Tamara Marie Lambert (Jimmy). Sisters Rose M. Berner, Louise A. Koonce (Frank) and Paula Schaber. nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A memorial will be held at a later date at Foundry Methodist Church in Virginia Beach, Va.
