Hilda Lorene Miller

Hilda Lorene Miller of Ironton, Mo., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the age of 83 years, 10 months, and 14 days. She was born August 6, 1936 in Belleview, Mo., a daughter of the late Charles and Florence Jones.

In 1955 she was united in marriage to Glen Miller who preceded her in death in 1986. To this union was born two children; Pam Scarbrough and husband Ted of Arcadia, Mo., and a son Daniel Glen Miller who preceded her in death, March 7, 2012.

Also surviving are a brother, David Jones; five sisters; Donna Fisher, Nancy Erickson, Dorothy Morris, Ann Adams, and Edna Jones; a granddaughter Jenna Scarbrough Smith and husband Jeremy of Springfield, Mo.; 2 great-grandchildren Baylee and Whitley Smith and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by four brothers; Wilfred, Otis, Paul, and Oscar Jones, and two sisters, Nelda Hatridge and Helen Latham.

Hilda and her husband Glen owned and operated Miller Heating and Cooling in Ironton for many years, and later she worked as a CNA at the Baptist Home.
