Lowndes Man Injured

Sixty-five-year-old Norman Gentry of Lowndes was injured Saturday morning in a crash on Highway TT, one-tenth of a mile north of Highway Z. The accident occurred at 11:32 a.m.

Gentry was southbound on a 2002 Suzuki C90. The Highway Patrol said the crash occurred when Gentry struck some debris in the roadway. The vehicle travelled off the right side of the roadway, ejecting Gentry.

Gentry sustained moderate injuries and was flown by Air Evac to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
