Pedestrian struck in Iron County

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Saturday at 2:08 a.m.  on Highway 21 south of  County Road 11.

Jeremey Lukefar, 29, of Ste. Genevieve was seriously injured. He was flown by Air Evac to Barnes Jewish Medical Center in St. Louis.

The Highway Patrol said he was struck in the roadway by a southbound 1997 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 19-year-old  Cameron Crane of Pilot Knob.
