Four Piedmont Teens Hurt in Crash
Four Piedmont teens were injured Tuesday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash on Highway V. The crash occurred at 2:45 p.m., 6 miles southeast of Piedmont.
Jason L. Robinson was northbound in a 2006 Pontiac G6. The Highway Patrol said that he failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the left side of the roadway.
Robinson, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained moderate injuries; he was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center were he was treated and released.
Andrew L. Howard, 18, of Piedmont was not wearing a seat belt. He sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
A 15-year-old unnamed male sustained minor injuries and a 16-year-old unnamed male had moderate injuries. The Highway Patrol said both were boys were wearing seat belts.
Robinson’s car was totalled in the crash and towed from the scene.
