The Wayne County Health Center was notified of an additional laboratory confirmed positive COVID-19 case Thursday afternoon. This gives the county a total of 9 confirmed cases at this time. All close contacts have been notified and are following CDC and the Department of Health and Senior Services recommendations.
Confirmed – 9
Active (in isolation) cases – 3
Tested/Negative – 577
Recovered – 6
Hospitalized/Released – 1
Deaths – 0
The Health Center will continue to closely monitor all individuals involved, as well as our county continuously. Frequent communication between local and state partners will be continued throughout the entirety of this pandemic.
