Wayne County COVID Cases Now at 12

COVID-19 UPDATE

As of Friday at 4:30PM:

The Wayne County Health Center was notified of three additional laboratory confirmed positive COVID-19 cases this afternoon. This gives the county a total of 12 confirmed cases at this time. All close contacts have been notified and are following CDC and the Department of Health and Senior Services recommendations.

Confirmed – 12
Active (in isolation) cases – 6
Tested/Negative – 590
Recovered – 6
Hospitalized/Released – 1
Deaths – 0

The Health Center will continue to closely monitor all individuals involved, as well as our county continuously. Frequent communication between local and state partners will be continued throughout the entirety of this pandemic.
