COVID-19 Exposure Warning Issued in Iron County as Numbers Continue to Climb

The Iron County Health Department has issued a COVID-19 Exposure Warning because of a potential exposure to the virus this past weekend at a public event.

The health department said the positive case started showing symptoms after the event and has now tested positive.  The health department has contacted those that the individual identified as having close contact with at the Wild Turkey Federation Banquet on Saturday, Aug. 8 at the Pilot Knob Elks Lodge.

If you were in attendance but have not been contacted, you do not need to quarantine but the health department still advises that you monitor for symptoms for 14 days.  If you should start showing symptoms, seek medical care and testing.  You may also call the health department with any questions or concerns at 573-546-7121.
