Helen Estell Rudolph
Helen Estell Rudolph daughter of the late Lore Pogue Amsden and John Amsden was born in Redford, Missouri, on June 19, 1940. She departed this life at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 14, 2020, at the age of 80.
On December 17, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri, Helen was united in marriage to James “Jim” Rudolph and to this union three children were born. Helen enjoyed going fishing, taking care of her farm, cattle and horses. She loved quilting and she made 100’s of quilts for benefits to help families in need. Helen’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Neal Dudley Rudolph, three brothers, Eugene, Robert Dale and Obie Amsden, one sister, Ruth Epley.
Helen is survived by two sons, Tony Rudolph and wife Laura of Festus, Missouri, Mitchell Rudolph of Centerville, Missouri, two grandchildren, Elizabeth and husband D.J. and Matthew and wife Jacque, one great-grandchild, Colin and one on the way, baby Eisenhauer, four brothers, John Wesley Amsden of Centerville, Missouri, Darrell D. Amsden of Owensville, Missouri, Herbert Ray Amsden, Coy Amsden of Centerville, Missouri, six sisters. Wilma Rudolph of Centerville, Missouri, Wanda Landrum of Festus, Missouri, Linda Meyer of Ellington, Missouri, Brenda Little of St. Louis, Missouri, Lela Mallard and husband Billy of Paragould, Arkansas, and Georgianna Amsden of Centerville, Missouri. Helen will be deeply missed by her family and many friends that will mourn her passing.
